In this season Qualifier-1 of the Indian Premier League (IPL), a match will be played between Chennai Super Kings (CSK) and Gujarat Titans (GT) today. The match will start at 7:30 PM at MA Chidambaram Stadium (Chepauk) in Chennai. The two teams will face each other for the first time in the playoffs of league history.

This is only the second season of Gujarat. Last year the team became the champion, but Chennai got out of the group stage itself. However, CSK has made it to the playoffs for the 12th time overall.
