IPL's Second Half May Be Held In Dubai

Is there a possibility for the second half of the IPL to be held in Dubai since the dates are clashing with general elections.
Sources said, "The Election Commission of India will announce the election schedule on Saturday at 3 P.m. After that, BCCI will decide whether the IPL matches should be moved to Dubai. Currently, a few of the top BCCI officials are in Dubai exploring the possibility of organizing the second half of IPL in Dubai."
Media Reports Suggestion
The media reports suggest that some of the IPL teams have asked the players to submit their passports. It also leads to speculation over a venue shift outside India. Previously, the first half of the IPL back in 2014 was held in UAE due to general elections.
BCCI Announcement
BCCI made the announcement of the schedule of the 1st half of the IPL, which is inclusive of 21 matches, with the last match being scheduled for 7th April in Lucknow, which will be between LSG (Lucknow Super Giants) and GT (Gujarat Titans).
First IPL Match Of 2024 Season
The IPL 2024 season commences with the first match being held between CSK (Chennai Super Kings) Vs. RCB (Royal Challengers Bangalore) on 22nd March in Chennai.
Previous Time IPL Held In UAE
Back in the year 2020, the IPL was held in UAE, where three of the venues, Dubai, Abu Dhabi, and Sharjah, had staged the matches because of the Covid-19 pandemic in India.
