Lucknow Super Giants defeated Rajasthan Royals by 10 runs at the Sawai Mansingh Stadium in Jaipur on Wednesday. Avesh Khan comes in to bowl the final over and Riyan Parag welcomes him with a boundary. He then conceded a single in the next delivery. With 14 required off 4, Avesh removed Padikkal for 26 (21). A wide yorker and Padikkal are caught. The pacer removes Dhruv Jurel in the very next delivery as Hooda takes a brilliant catch at long-on. Avesh defended 19 runs in the final over as Rajasthan managed 144/6 in reply to LSG's 154/7 to win the contest by 10 runs.

Stoinis then dismissed Butler for 40(41) and Avesh Khan dismissed Shimron Hetmyer for 2(5). Earlier, clinical bowling from R Ashwin and Trent Boult restricted the hosts to 154/7 after inviting Lucknow to bat. Ashwin took two wickets and conceded 23 runs in his four overs, while Boult conceded 16 runs and took one wicket in his quota. Kyle Mayers brought up his fifty, but it came at a blistering pace.
