The Mumbai Indians (MI) defeated the Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) by an impressive 54-run margin in the 45th IPL 2025 match, played on April 27 at Wankhede Stadium. This victory was their fifth straight and moved them up to second position in the standings.

The most impressive bowler was Jasprit Bumrah, who took four wickets for twenty-two runs, including three in one over. Will Jacks contributed two wickets, and Trent Boult provided strong support with three.
