Mumbai has won the title of Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy for the second time in 3 years. On Sunday, the team defeated Madhya Pradesh in the final by 5 wickets in Bengaluru. Batting first at Chinnaswamy Stadium, MP scored 174 runs. Mumbai achieved the target by losing 5 wickets in 17.5 overs.

Suryakumar Yadav scored 48 runs from Mumbai. Suryansh Shedge scored 36 runs off 15 balls and Atharva Ankolekar played an unbeaten innings of 16 runs off 6 balls. Captain Rajat Patidar scored 81 runs off 40 balls from MP. Mumbai had earlier become the champion in 2022 as well.

MP got off to a bad start
