On 18 February, the fifth match of WPL 2025 was played between Mumbai Indians vs Gujarat Giants at the Kotambi Stadium in Vadodara. Mumbai Indians beat the Gujarat Giants by 5 wickets. Nat Sciver-Brunt’s score 57 in 39 balls. Matthews took 3 wickets to help Mumbai win their first match.

Gujarat Giants’s Focus On their Batting

Gujarat Giants lost their 2 matches in 3 matches, they won only 1 match against UP Warriorz. They need to fix their batting line or batting performance specially openers who were not given a good start to Gujarat. They have only 4 league matches remaining for qualification they will need 3 out of 4 wins.
