On paper, this match breaks all previous records as the first men's professional cricket match (T20I or List A) to enter a third Super Over. This is the height of the excitement and unpredictability of T20 cricket. Before this, India vs. Afghanistan in January 2023 was the only other Twenty20 International to advance to a second Super Over.
