On March 11, New Zealand announced their T20 squad against Pakistan in their home series. Pakistan tour of New Zealand series starts from March 16 to 5 April 2025. In the series they will play five t20 and 3 ODI matches. Pakistan already announced their squad for this series. Micheal Bracewell is leading New Zealand in the t20 series.

Micheal Bracewell Is Leading New Zealand In T20I

For the first time, New Zealand will be controlled by all-rounder Michael Bracewell. Since making his international debut in March 2022, Michael Bracewell, a right-arm off-spin bowler and left-handed batting all-rounder, has made an important contribution to New Zealand cricket. He has played for New Zealand in Test matches, One-Day Internationals, and Twenty20 Internationals.

With an unbeaten 53-run score, Bracewell was important in the previous Champions Trophy final. Against his best efforts, India won the title by a margin of four wickets, defeating New Zealand.

Key Players Are Not Available

New Zealand's key players are injured and will miss this series. Skilled fast bowlers Lockie Ferguson and Ben Sears are out with injuries, and regular skipper Mitchell Santner is not present.

Sears is recovering from a hamstring injury, and Ferguson was sidelined for the Champions Trophy due to a foot issue. A key all-rounder, Rachin Ravindra, has resumed training after a recent facial injury.

Emerging players now have more chances to display their skills on the global scene because to these absences.
