Rishabh Pant's jersey number 17 will be written on the jersey or cap of every player of Delhi Capitals in IPL. Delhi Capitals coach Ricky Ponting gave this information on Friday.

Ricky Ponting said, injured Rishabh Pant's place cannot be filled and there is no player who can make an impact like him. He further said, Pant's exit is a big blow and it does not matter who we have replaced him. We will still miss Rishabh. He is the finisher for us and it is impossible to fill his place.

Pant car met with an accident last year.

In fact, this time Rishabh Pant will not be seen playing in the Indian Premier League starting from March 31. Pant's car met with an accident on December 31 last year while going from Delhi to his home in Roorkee. After which he had serious injuries. He has had a knee operation.
