Captain Shreyas Iyer led PBKS's chase with an impressive unbroken 87 off just 41 balls, which included eight sixes. His aggressive batting, especially an over off Ashwani Kumar that scored 26 runs, was crucial to PBKS's successful chase. Iyer and Nehal Wadhera's 84-run partnership established a strong base that allowed PBKS to reach the goal with one over remaining.

Punjab Kings Will Played Their Second Final After 11 Years

After winning over Mumbai Indians, Punjab Kings will play their second IPL finals after 11 years. Last time Punjab Kings(Kings 11 Punjab) played the IPL final in 2014 against KKR. Punjab Kings played IPL 2025 final against Royal Challengers Bangalore on 3rd June at the Narendra Modi Cricket Stadium in Ahmedabad. 

 

Both teams will play their second final in the IPL. After 3 years we will get new champions of IPL, the last new team champion was Gujarat Titans in 2022 under Hardik Pandya captaincy.
