Ranji Trophy Second Round: Mumbai defeated Andhra by 10 wickets
On Monday, the last day of the second round of this season of Ranji Trophy, Mumbai defeated Andhra Pradesh by 10 wickets. Shams Mulani of Mumbai took 5-5 wickets in both the innings and completed the haul of 10 wickets. The Mumbai team is currently at the top of Group B of Elite.
In Group C, Gujarat defeated Karnataka by 6 runs. The matches of the second round started on January 12, the last day of which was on Monday.

Gujarat won in a thrilling match
Led by Siddharth Desai's 7 wickets for 42 runs, Gujarat produced a brilliant bowling performance and secured a thrilling 6-run win against Karnataka. After beginning the day at 171/7, Umang Kumar (57) and Chintan Gaja (23) helped Gujarat finish with 219 in their second innings.
Karnataka needed 110 runs to win and at one point after the score was 50/0, Karnataka was out for 53 runs at a total of 103 runs. Devdutt Padikal scored the highest score of 31 runs.
