Rinku Singh included in India-A team

Second multi-day match against England Lions from tomorrow

Rinku Singh has been included in the team for the second match of the three-match unofficial Test series being played between India-A and England Lions. Earlier he was included in the team only for the third and final match of the series.

The second four-day match between the two teams will be played in Ahmedabad from January 24. The first multi-day match between India A and England Lions was drawn.

Rinku made her international debut last year

26-year-old Rinku made his international debut in the T-20 series against Ireland in August last year. He was a part of the team in the T20 series against Australia, South Africa and Afghanistan. He was also a part of the team that won the gold medal in the Asian Games played in Hangzhou. He made his ODI debut in South Africa in December last year, where he played two matches.

Rinku has not yet made his red ball debut for India. But, during the Boxing Day Test last year, he came to the field as a substitute fielder for the Indian team at the SuperSport Park in Centurion.

He was included in the India A squad for the first time ahead of the second four-day match against South Africa A in Benoni, although he was not a part of the playing 11.

Saini is leading among fast bowlers

Navdeep Saini will lead in the fast bowling department. Vidavatha Kavarappa of Karnataka will also be accompanying him. Kawerappa earned his place in the season-opening Duleep Trophy on the back of strong performances for South Zone. Apart from these, Tushar Deshpande and Akash Deep will also join the team.
