RR Won By 6 Runs: Rana’s 81 And Hasaranga 4 Wickets

After losing the toss Rajasthan Royals came for the bat, Nitish Rana, who scored 81 runs off 36 balls with 10 boundaries and five sixes, was the mainstay of RR's innings. Support was given by Riyan Parag, who scored a consistent 37 off 28 balls. RR ended their innings at 182 for 9 in 20 overs, despite their best efforts. Bowlers Matheesha Pathirana and Noor Ahmad were both successful for CSK, taking two wickets for 28 runs.

In response, CSK suffered an early defeat when Jofra Archer removed Rachin Ravindra for a duck in the opening over.  Rahul Tripathi scored 32 making the partnership with Ruturaj Gaikwad, who played the captaincy inninning of 63 runs at the Jadeja scored 32 in 22 balls but Hasaranga's outstanding effort of four wickets helped the Rajasthan Royals win the thrilling encounter in the last overs.
