Shaheen Afridi told a fan in Ahmedabad that he would get photographed only after taking 5 wickets against India on October 14.

Pakistan's fast bowler Shaheen Shah Afridi is expected to take 5 wickets in the World Cup match against India. When some fans requested to take a selfie with Shaheen, Afridi said - 'When I take 5 wickets against Team India on 14th October, I will get the photo taken.'

All the players of Pakistan team including Shaheen sweated profusely at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad on Thursday. Captain Babar Azam and other players were seen warming up by playing football. He then also did specialized training.

 

Shaheen bowled after getting knocked

Shaheen Shah Afridi was first seen knocking his batsmen through throw down practice. Then after some time he also went to bowl in the nets. Shaheen has been able to take only 2 wickets so far in this World Cup.

All-rounders Shadab Khan, Mohammad Nawaz and Saud Shakeel did catching practice. These players kept practicing high and low catches for about half an hour. Gill netted for about 40 minutes in the morning

Before Pakistan, Indian opener Shubman Gill did net practice for 40 to 45 minutes at around 11 am. He reached Ahmedabad a day earlier on Wednesday. Gill joined Team India today itself, if Gill recovers completely from dengue then he will be seen playing against Pakistan.

Gill was suffering from dengue before the ODI match against Australia in Chennai. He was admitted to the hospital due to which he missed India's matches against Australia and Afghanistan.
