Now even the star all-rounder of the team will not be with the team in IPL. According to sports website Cricbuzz, Bangladesh captain Shakib gave this information on Tuesday.

According to Shakib, he is yet to play a Test match against Ireland for Bangladesh. After this, due to personal reasons, he will not take part in the tournament this year.

On the other hand, KKR and Bangladesh team player Liton Das will also join the KKR camp only after playing the Test match against Ireland.

Shakib was sold for Rs 1.5 crore

IPL 2023 auction, KKR bought Shakib Al Hasan for Rs 1.5 crore. According to a report in Cricbuzz, there was speculation between the franchise and Shakib even before the season. BCB i.e. Bangladesh Cricket Board has refused to release Shakib and Liton Dus. So that both can be a part of the Mirpur Test.

Liton Das will be there till May 1

The Bangladesh Cricket Board said that there will be a 3-ODI series between Bangladesh and Ireland from May 9. For this reason, Liton Das can join the team only till May 1. Liton Dus was bought by KKR at a base price of Rs 50 lakhs.

Liton has informed the KKR management that he will play for the league. They will reach Kolkata on 10 April. KKR will take on Faf du Plessis-led RCB on April 6 at the Eden Gardens in Kolkata.

Who will play in place of Shakib Al Hasan in IPL 2023?

These players can replace Shakib Afghanistan's Mohammad Nabi, New Zealand's Daryl Mitchell or Australia's Travis Head can replace Shakib in the Kolkata team. All three are excellent international all-rounders.
