The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) is not in a hurry about the ODI career of Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma and is not going to take any decision in this regard soon.

India&#39;s ODI series against Bangladesh in August has been canceled. In such a situation, India will play its next ODIs in the Australia series to be held from 19 to 25 October.

Some media reports claimed that the BCCI could give a farewell match to both the veterans in Sydney (October 25), but board sources have rejected it. According to news agency PTI, a BCCI source told them,

If Rohit and Kohli have something in mind, they will tell the BCCI, as they did before the England Test tour. At present, the focus is on the T20 World Cup to be held in February and the preparations before that. The next big goal is to field the best team in the Asia Cup T20.

Last played together in Champions Trophy

The last time Virat and Rohit played together in ODIs was in the Champions Trophy in Dubai, where Kohli scored a century against Pakistan and Rohit scored a half-century in the final. Both have not played any match since IPL.

Kohli recently shared a photo of an indoor net session in London, where he was seen with IPL team Gujarat Titans&#39; assistant coach Naeem Amin.
