The Indian women's cricket team defeated Ireland at Rajkot on January 15, 2025, with a historic batting explosion of 435 for 5, their first-ever 400-plus total in One Day Internationals (ODIs). Both starter Pratika Rawal and skipper Smriti Mandhana led this historic achievement with performances that broke records.

Smriti Explosive Innings
Mandhana immediately showed her aggressive intent by breaking Harmanpreet Kaur's previous record of an 87-ball century and finishing her century in just 70 balls, the fastest by an Indian woman in ODIs. She equaled the record for the most sixes by an Indian in a women's ODI with her remarkable performance of 135 runs off 80 deliveries, which featured 12 fours and seven sixes.
Pratik’s Maiden Century
Pratika Rawal, a rising star in Indian women's cricket, scored her first international century against Ireland. India's highest-ever women's ODI total of 370 for 5 was largely due to Rawal's outstanding innings.
Partnership Smriti And Rawal
Pratika Rawal, who scored 154 runs off 129 balls and recorded his first ODI century, added exceptional balance and technique to Mandana's attack. After stands of 320 and 258 against Ireland, their impressive opening partnership of 233 runs, scored at a fast pace of 8.73 runs per over, ranks third for India in women's ODIs.
