Team India reached New York for T-20 World Cup

The first batch of Team India has reached New York for the T20 World Cup to be played in America and West Indies from June 2. The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) shared the video of the team's arrival in New York on Monday. The team left for America from Mumbai Airport on May 25.

Team India will play a warm-up match against Bangladesh on June 1. The first batch included the team's head coach Rahul Dravid, captain Rohit Sharma and many players and team staff. The second batch can leave today.

Kohli, Hardik and Samson will join the team late

Star batsman Virat Kohli, all-rounder Hardik Pandya and wicketkeeper-batsman Sanju Samson have not gone with the first batch. Kohli has taken a short break from the game after IPL. Team vice-captain Hardik Pandya and Sanju Samson will also join the team late.

This time the T-20 World Cup will be played in West Indies and America from June 2. The opening match will be played between America and Canada. The first match of the Indian team will be against Ireland in New York on June 5.
