Team India will tour Zimbabwe in July
A series of 5 T-20 matches will be played, the matches will be held in Harare.
After the T20 World Cup in June, the Indian team will tour Zimbabwe in July. Zimbabwe Cricket and the Board of Control for Cricket in India BCCI announced the tour on Tuesday. During the tour, the Indian team will play a five-match T-20 series against Zimbabwe.
The matches will be played between 6th and 14th July, all the matches will be held in Harare.
Last visited in 2022
The Indian team last toured Zimbabwe in 2022. During this period the team played a series of 3 ODI matches. The team won all three matches and captured the series 3-0. The last T-20 series India played against Zimbabwe was in 2016, where Team India won 2-1.

“We are absolutely thrilled to host India for the T20I series in July,” Zimbabwe Cricket President Tavengwa Mukuhlani said.
India coming here this year will be one of the biggest events for our country. The importance and magnitude of the tour cannot be overemphasized, especially as it comes at a time when we are finding ourselves better off.
The tour was confirmed after discussions between ZC and BCCI. The objective of this visit is to strengthen bilateral ties between the two countries.
Zimbabwe will not play in the World Cup
Zimbabwe did not qualify for this year's T-20 World Cup. This year, Namibia, Uganda and South Africa will play from Africa. Even the ODI World Cup could not be played in 2023.
The team last played the 2022 T20 World Cup, in which it was eliminated from the league stage. Earlier, the team could not play the 2021 World Cup due to ICC ban. Not only this, the team did not even qualify for the 2019 ODI World Cup.
