India has defeated Bangladesh by 8 wickets in the ICC Under-19 Women's World Cup. With this victory in Kuala Lumpur, the Indian women's team has reached the semi-finals.

The Indian team stopped Bangladesh at a score of 64/8. Captain Sumaiya Akhtar scored 21 runs. Spinner Vaishnavi Sharma took 3 wickets for 15 runs. Due to Gongadi Trisha's 40 runs, India scored 66 runs for the loss of 2 wickets and won easily in 7.1 overs.

7 Bangladesh players out in single digits

Bangladesh women's team, batting first, lost 5 wickets for 22 runs. After this, captain Sumaiya Akhtar and Jannatul Mauwa added 31 runs for the sixth wicket. Trisha was dismissed by Habiba in the seventh over. Sanika Chalke remained unbeaten on 11 runs and captain Nikki Prasad remained unbeaten on 5 runs.
