USA beats Bangladesh in second T20: Wins three-match series with 6-run win

USA has shown signs of an upset by winning the T20 series from Bangladesh before the T20 World Cup. USA defeated Bangladesh by 6 runs in the second T20 match played at Prairie View Cricket Complex in Houston.

With this, USA has taken a 2-0 lead in the three-match T-20 series. This is the first time that USA has defeated Bangladesh in a series of any format. Batting first, USA scored 144 runs at the loss of 6 wickets. In reply, the entire Bangladesh team returned to the pavilion after scoring 138 runs in 19.3 overs.

After losing the toss and opting to bat first, USA opener Steven Taylor and captain Monank Patel gave a good start to the team and added 44 runs for the first wicket.
