Kohli Surpasses a Tendulkar Benchmark
In the 330th innings of Delhi's Vijay Hazare Trophy match against Andhra in Bengaluru, Virat Kohli surpassed Sachin Tendulkar to become the fastest player to reach 16,000 runs in men's List A cricket. When playing for Mumbai against Sikkim in Jaipur.
Tendulkar finished with 21,999 runs from 538 innings in 551 List A games, of which 18,426 came from 452 ODI innings, after reaching the historic 16,000 in 391 innings. In 296 ODI innings, Kohli has amassed 14,557 runs.
From 10,000 onward, Kohli holds the record for being the fastest player to reach each block of 1000 List A runs.

Rohit Sharma Closes In on Warner
In Jaipur, Rohit Sharma, playing for Mumbai, tied David Warner's record for the most 150+ runs in the format with a century against Sikkim.
At 38 years and 238 days old, Rohit became the second-oldest player to reach triple figures in a Vijay Hazare Trophy match when he reached his century that day. Anustup Majumdar of Bengal scored two hundreds in the 2023–24 season when he was older than 39. After reaching his century in 62 balls, Rohit concluded with 155 off 94 balls. Mumbai won by eight wickets after he struck nine sixes and eighteen fours in his innings.
