Vidarbha became Ranji Trophy champion for the third time

Vidarbha has won the Ranji Trophy 2024-25 title. The final match between Vidarbha and Kerala was drawn. Vidarbha was declared champion on the basis of first innings lead.
Vidarbha had scored 379 runs in the first innings. Kerala scored 342 runs in response. Vidarbha got a lead of 37 runs on the basis of first innings. Vidarbha scored 375 runs for the loss of 9 wickets in the second innings till the fifth day of the match and the match was declared drawn without calling Kerala to play.
Vidarbha team has won the Ranji Trophy title for the third time. Earlier, the team won this title in 2017-18 and 2018-19. They defeated Delhi in 2017 and Saurashtra in 2018. At the same time, the team was the runner-up in 2023-24. In which Mumbai defeated them in the final. Kerala cricket team reached the final for the first time.
