KL Rahul, who stayed unbeaten at 42, and Shreyas Iyer, who contributed 45 runs, provided him with strong support. India remained calm in spite of some tight bowling from the Australian team and a couple of missed catches. With 11 balls left, Rahul broke a six to end the game and give India the victory.

After beating Australia by 6 wickets, they booked the ticket of Champions Trophy 2025 final. Now it is confirmed that the Final will happen in Dubai International Cricket Stadium in Dubai on March 9. India will play their Final with Semi Final 2 winner, that will be decided on March 5 where the Semis final 2 match will be played between South Africa and New Zealand.
