The Indian Premier League (IPL) will start in March next year, but the purchase of 10 teams will end on December 19. IPL auction will start at 2:30 pm in Dubai on Tuesday. This time there will be bidding on 333 players, out of which only a maximum of 77 players can be bought. Of these, 30 slots are for foreign players.

10 teams have Rs 262.95 crore left in the auction. Among these, Gujarat, Hyderabad, Kolkata and Chennai will enter the auction with more than Rs 30 crore. One of these teams may also include the most expensive player in IPL history tomorrow, whose price may cross Rs 20 crore.

1. Rachin Ravindra: Scored 3 centuries in ODI World Cup, also left-arm spinner

New Zealand's left-handed batting all-rounder Rachin Ravindra impressed in the ODI World Cup. He scored 578 runs with the help of 3 centuries. 24-year-old Rachin scored a lot of runs against both spin and pace in India at an average of 64.22. Along with batting in the top order, Rachin also bowls left-arm spin.

Rachin has scored runs for New Zealand in 18 T20 Internationals at a strike rate of around 118. He will enter the IPL auction for the first time. In 53 matches of his T-20 career, he has scored runs at a strike rate of around 123.

Rachin's name is in set 2 of the auction. The Kiwi all-rounder has kept his base price at just Rs 50 lakh. All teams in the IPL need all-rounders. Gujarat, Hyderabad, Kolkata, Chennai, Punjab, and Delhi have funds of more than Rs 29 crore. Any of these teams can buy Rachin.

2. Travis Head: Aggressive batsman, plays attacking shots, big match player

Australia's opener Travis Head snatched the trophy from India by scoring 137 runs in the ODI World Cup final. He scored 329 runs by scoring 2 centuries in only 6 matches of the tournament. His strike rate was also more than 127. Along with left hand batting, he also bowls head right arm off spin.

In 23 T20s, he has scored 554 runs at a strike rate of 146. He has 205 runs in 10 IPL matches at a strike rate of 138.51. He was last part of RCB in 2017.

Head's name is in Set-1 of the auction. His base price is Rs 2 crore. SRH, KKR, GT and DC need top order batsmen in IPL. All four teams have a purse of more than Rs 28 crore, so the price of the head can also go up to Rs 10 to 15 crore.

3. Harry Brook: Attacking batsman, hits a boundary on every sixth ball.

England's middle order batsman Harry Brook scores a boundary on every sixth ball in T-20 International. He has scored 495 runs in 25 T-20 matches at a strike rate of 141.02. Brook also does bowling part time. He has impressed everyone at the international level with his attacking batting in Test and ODI formats.

In the last IPL, Brook was bought by SRH for Rs 13.25 crore. But due to the difficult pitch of Hyderabad, he could score only 190 runs in 11 IPL matches. He scored a century, which came on the flat pitch of Kolkata.

Brook is included in Set-1 of the auction. His base price is Rs 2 crore. In IPL, the pitches of Bengaluru, Kolkata, Mohali, Mumbai and Ahmedabad are flat. KKR and GT need a middle order batsman, both the teams can spend more than Rs 10 crore for Brook.

All-rounder Shardul's name is in Set-2 of the auction. His base price is Rs 2 crore. He has played for Punjab, Pune, Chennai, Delhi and Kolkata. All the teams of India need pace bowling all-rounder. In such a situation, a big bidding war can be seen for Shardul among teams like GT, CSK, SRH, PBKS and RCB.

5. Pat Cummins: World Cup-winning captain, fast bowler, and attacking batsman

Pat Cummins, who has won the Ashes and World Test Championship along with ODI and T-20 World Cup under his captaincy, will also be in the auction. He has 116 runs in his name with 55 wickets in 50 T-20 Internationals. 30-year-old experienced Cummins has 1717 runs in his name in international cricket with 438 wickets.

In 42 IPL matches, Cummins has scored 379 runs and also taken 45 wickets. He was a part of KKR in the 2021 season when he scored a fifty in 14 balls. Cummins was sold for Rs 15.50 crore in 2020, so he may be sold at a higher price this time too.

All-rounder Cummins' name is in Set 2 of the auction. His base price is Rs 2 crore and he has also played for Mumbai and Delhi in IPL. All teams will bid for them. CSK, SRH, PBKS, and RCB also need a future captain, so these teams will be more interested in including Cummins.
