World Cup 2023: Starting with England-New Zealand match on October 5;India-Pak match in World Cup on October 15

48 matches of ODI World Cup will be played in India for 46 days between October-November. The International Cricket Council (ICC) released the World Cup schedule on Tuesday. The tournament will begin on October 5 with the New Zealand-England match. The match will be played at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad. The final will be held on this ground on 19 November. The semi-finals of the tournament will be held in Mumbai and Kolkata.

The most talked about match of the tournament, India-Pakistan match will be held on October 14 at Narendra Modi Stadium only. However, India's World Cup campaign will begin with a match against Australia. This match will be played in Chennai on 8 October.

2023 World Cup will be played in 10 cities. Ahmedabad (Narendra Modi Stadium), Bengaluru (M Chinnaswamy Stadium), Chennai (MA Chidambaram Stadium), Delhi (Arun Jaitley Cricket Stadium), Dharamsala (Himachal Pradesh Cricket Association Stadium), Hyderabad (Rajiv Gandhi International Cricket Stadium, Uppal)

Apart from these, Kolkata (Eden Garden), Lucknow (Ekana Cricket Stadium), Mumbai (Wankhede Stadium), Pune (Maharashtra Cricket Association Stadium) are included. Apart from Hyderabad, Guwahati and Thiruvananthapuram will host practice matches from September 29 to October 3.
