Durbar's Overseas Players Sit Out, Due To Payment Issue

Why Durbar’s Overseas Players Were Not In Playing 11?

Because they only paid ¼ of their total compensation, which implies that only 75% of their salary is due, the overseas players from the Durbar Rajshahi franchise will not be in the playing 11 for Sunday's match against Rangpur Rider. BPL Rules

Bangladesh Premier Leagues(BPL) rules says that at least two overseas players should be in playing 11. 

BCB said that “The Durbar Rajshahi team... has applied to the BPL Technical Committee for special approval to field a team consisting solely of Bangladeshi players for today's match against Rangpur Riders due to the non-availability of overseas players”

"After a review of the request and in accordance with the provisions outlined in Clause 1.2.8 of the Match Playing Conditions of BPL 2024-25, the Technical Committee has granted approval for Durbar Rajshahi to field a team consisting of only Bangladeshi players for this match” 

This the first time in BPL history the overseas players are not in playing 11. 

Overseas Players Who Sit Out

There are 6 overseas players of Durbar Rajshahi who were sitting out Sunday's match against Rangpur Rider in Dhaka. 

Rayn Burl, Mohammad haris, Mark Deyak, Miguel Cumins, Aftab Alam and Lahiri Samarakoon

Rajshahi Rider’s Owner Are Also In Trouble

According to a report , Rajshahi Rider’ owners are also in trouble because he had not paid the hotel bill and changed the facility in the middle of the tournament.
