The matches of this tournament, which is going to start on October 3, will be played at Dubai International and Sharjah grounds in UAE. Sri Lanka and Zimbabwe Cricket Boards had also shown interest in hosting the tournament in their countries, but the Council decided to host the matches in UAE.
The opening match will be played between Bangladesh and Scotland in Sharjah on 3 October. The Indian women's team will play its first match against New Zealand in Dubai on 4 October. The team will then face Pakistan on the same ground on 6 October. Pakistan will play its first match against Sri Lanka on 3 October itself.
