India in the final of Women's Asia Cup for the ninth time: Defeated Bangladesh by 10 wickets
The Indian team has reached the final for the ninth time by defeating Bangladesh in the semi-finals of the Women's Asia Cup. India defeated Bangladesh by 10 wickets in the semi-finals.
For India, Smriti Mandhana scored 55 runs in 39 balls. Shefali Verma played an innings of 26 runs in 28 balls.
Nigar Sultana scored 32 and Shorna Akhtar scored an unbeaten 19 runs for Bangladesh. Seven other batsmen could not even cross the double-digit mark. Indian pacer Renuka Singh and spinner Radha Yadav took 3-3 wickets. Pooja Vastrakar and Deepti Sharma got one wicket each.
Bangladesh gave India a target of 81 runs
In the first semi-final of the Women's Asia Cup, Bangladesh has given India a target of 81 runs. Bangladesh, batting first, scored 80 runs in 20 overs, losing 8 wickets. For Bangladesh, Nigar Sultana scored 32 and Shorna Akhtar scored 19 not out. Seven other batsmen could not even cross the double-digit mark. Bangladesh won the toss and chose to bat
