Mahmudullah Announced Retirement From International Cricket

After Mushfiqur Rahim retired from International cricket, another Bangladesh started retiring from international cricket. Bangladesh’s Allround Mahmudullah 39 years ago, announced retirement from International cricket. He has announced his retirement on social media on 12 March after Bangladesh knocked out from the Champions Trophy 2025.
Mahmudullah Statement On His Retirement
Mohmudullah said on his facebook account through a shared post with the caption "All praises only for the Almighty Allah. I have decided to retire from international cricket,"
Mahmudullah International Debut
Since making his debut for his country in 2007, Mahmudullah has played an important part in Bangladeshi cricket. With a total of 5,689 runs at an average of 36.46, including four hundreds, all of which were recorded in ICC tournaments, he leaves as the nation's fourth-highest run scorer in One Day Internationals (ODIs).
International Career
Test Cricket:
With a peak score of 150 not out, he scored 2,914 runs at an average of 33.49 in 50 Test matches. With his best bowling stats of 5/51, he also claimed 43 wickets. In November 2021, Mahmudullah declared the decision to retire from Test cricket.
T20 Internationals:
After a 17-year time in the format, he announced his retirement from T20Is in October 2024. He took 40 wickets and scored 2,395 runs at a strike rate of 117.74 in 139 Twenty20 International matches.
