Mehidy Hasan Out, Nurul And Saif Return In the Bangladesh Asia Cup 2025 Squard

Surprisingly, Bangladesh's 16-man team for the Asia Cup 2025 scheduled from September 9 to 28. The tournament in the United Arab Emirates combines daring additions with continuity. Notably, wicketkeeper-batter Quazi Nurul Hasan and all-rounder Saif Hassan have been called up, while Mehidy Hasan Miraz, who was the team's captain in the 50-over tournament, has been excluded from the final squad.

• The T20 team will not include Mehidy Hasan Miraz, who was just named Bangladesh's ODI captain in June. His absence signifies a tactical change for the shorter format despite his outstanding leadership skills.
