The BCCI has announced the full schedule of the upcoming icc men's t20 world cup 2026 hosted by India and Sri Lanka. The dates of the competition are set for February 7, 2026, to March 8, 2026.
Unless particular matches featuring Pakistan necessitate moving the final to Colombo, the final is scheduled on March 8, 2026, at Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad.

The top 8 teams from each group advance to the Super Eight round, then the top four teams qualify for the Semis, and then the final.
Key Fixtures
A total of 55 matches will be contested across the group stage, Super Eight, Semis, and Final.
- Group phases begin February 7, with the Netherlands vs Pakistan opening the tournament
- India’s opener is vs the USA on February 7 in Mumbai.
- India vs. Pakistan—the main clash—is slated for February 15 in R. Premadasa Stadium, Colombo.

- A total of 8 venues host the full
- India: Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad, MA Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai, Arun Jaitley Stadium in New Delhi, Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai, and Eden Gardens in Kolkata are some of the Indian venues.
