Punjab Won By 8 Wickets: Prabhsimran 69, Arshdeep's 3 Wickets

On April 1, 2025, the Punjab Kings (PBKS) defeated the Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) by a decisive eight wickets in the 13th game of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2025 at the Ekana Stadium in Lucknow.

Arshdeep's 3 wickets, LSG score 171 in 20 overs

After the win at the toss, PBKS decided to field first. LSG suffered early reverses in their innings, losing skipper Rishabh Pant and other important wickets for a low score. Despite these difficulties, LSG managed to reach a score of 171 for 7 in their allocated 20 overs thanks to the quick 44 runs from Nicholas Pooran and the 41 from Ayush Badoni. Arshdeep Singh led PBKS' bowling attack, taking three wickets for 43 runs. 

Prabhsimran’s aggresive 69 runs, Punjab Kings won their second match

Prabhsimran Singh, the opening batsman for PBKS, responded with a brilliant display, amassing 69 runs off 34 balls, including a quick half-century of 23 balls. With 52 runs off 30 balls, captain Shreyas Iyer remained undefeated while providing constant assistance. Nehal Wadhera made a substantial contribution as well, scoring an undefeated 43 runs off 25 balls. Because of the three players' efforts, PBKS was able to easily chase down the goal, reaching 177 for 2 in just 16.2 overs.
