Bangladesh team announced for Test series against India

Nazmul Hasan Shanto will be the captain of the team. Under his captaincy, Bangladesh defeated Pakistan for the first time in a Test match and series last month.
Bangladesh has announced its team for the Test series against India starting on 19 September. A team of 16 members was selected for this two-match series. Nazmul Hasan Shanto will be the captain of the team.
Shakib Al Hasan has also got a chance in the team. He is accused of killing a student involved in a protest against the Hasina government in Bangladesh. More than 400 people lost their lives in the movement. 147 people including Shakib are accused of killing one of these students.
The Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) had defended Shakib Al Hasan on the murder charges. Board President Farooq Ahmed had said - 'Shakib Al Hasan will continue to play for Bangladesh until he is proven guilty. We will send him for the Indian tour.'
